I have a 3.5L aurora 2001. My a/c compressor clutch bearing is going out! Cause it's whinning and a like scratchy type noise! I know it's the bearing because i just change the serp belt and i spun it and i could hear it when i spun it! I just need to know if anyone has ever changed one of these and is it a tough job to do? Does the whole compressor need to come off in order to replace it? Any special tools needed if you can do it yourself! And how do you go about replacin it if you do it yourself! PLEASE HELP! I just hate to pay $300 at a local auto service place to change out a $30 bearing if i don't have too!!
