Hello everyone, new here

I am having a problem with the wipers on my 2002 Aurora. It rained heavy ayesterday here in Michigan and the rain sensor turned the wipers on. Well, now they won't shut off! I am pretty sure that the relay is bad, but I have no idea where to find it. Anyone know where it is, or does anyone have another suggestion as to what the problem may be?? Any help or comment is much appreciated, thanks!

Hey there,

It's been a while since you posted this? What was the fix? I think the fuse is covered in owners manual, but I don't have mine handy. By chance, did you disconnect the battery in an attempt to reset it?

Hopefully it all worked out.

Well,

No fix yet. I was told by a dealership mechanic that it was the wiper motor assembly. This sounded ridiculous but he said a circuit board had shorted and was causing constant power to the motor. They quoted me nearly $400 to replace it. I found a motor assembly at a local salvage yard for $45 and after a couple hours labor I had it out and in. I fired it up and found the wipers still would not shut off!! What the hell? So, now I am using the fuse as a switch until I have time to take it to an auto-electric shop I know. I just don't trust dealerships. But, if I get it fixxed I will post it so anyone else that has this problem will be informed. Please feel free to make any suggestions though people, Thanks.
