we have a 97, the lights were flashing on and off, we pulled the fuses for the left and right front lights(yellow lights)and the dashlight fuse, then put them in a day later aand it would stop, but now the taillights, dashlights, yellow lights, perimiter lights, dont work at all, i checked the voltage at the fuse box(by the driver)and theres no voltage, for any of the fuses, i was wondering if cleaning the multifuntional switch would take care of all the problems???

Well took it to the dealer, found out it was the LCM (lamp control module), not sure where the part is located, but it was over $300, they also say the multifunction switch might be bad too, hope not cleaned the heck out of that, but i looked around the internet and could not find that part, must only be available through GM, get the car back on Monday will make new post after that

well got the car back yessterday, they replaced the LCM, everything is working again, i asked where the lcm is located, its on the firewall, so if any runs into the same problem, thats where its located, the car also has a fuel rail recall, whick they also did, the car starts great now, it use to take about 10 seconds to fireup, it starts right up now, so it was worth it to have it taken in, for me anyway, thanks for the advice though
