ok so i have replaced the following,


sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, coil, distributor cap and rotor, starter, cpi injector thing, plelum gasket, and sending unit and fuel pump, and the ignition switch. The bravada still wont start i about ready to haul it to the junk yard. The timing is right on it i still cant figure it out it has been 2 years since it has ran. has 209000 miles on it.

 

I am currently experiencing the same issue as you, with the exception that my motor actually ran backwards for several seconds until I realized that blue smoke was coming from the air breather and turned off the ignition key. My vehicle is SCPI and yours is probably CPI. But I to have replaced everything to do with ignition and fuel supply or had it tested anyway. I remember reading once about a problem with the ground return for the PCM (about 6 months ago) But I can no longer find that thread, I should have printed it I know but I thought I had fixed the problem with a new fuel pressure regulator (by advice from a friend) turns out the vehicle start and ran for several weeks as just a coincidence as the problem reoccured during a rain storm. I'm still actively searching for a cure and will pass on to you any info I get. Go luck.
