Alrite guys, im new here but ive owned my cutlass since brand new in 97 with 100 miles on it. And as of today it has around 7000. So its a freaking brand new car ya hear?? alrite so sometimes when i get in it the car doesnt even start. Youll crank the thing until the battery dies. Somedays itll start right up, somedays nope.. there is no telling in when it will start for you. I jsut took it to the library 30 min ago and jsut got home now since the stupid thing wouldnt start. sat in it for 15 min cranking, pushing in fuses. i swear. i flipped the key over, tried new keys, nothing.. any help on this one boys?? please</font>

Is your security light flashing?

 

It blinks i believe. I think it has something to do with the security but i have no way of finding out what it is... Theres a little black box under my dash but visible to the person in the drivers seat, and it looks like it has some sort of head phone jack and a red light next to it.. any idea to what that is???

 

if the car has been sitting so long it is going to need new spark plugs and wires because the ignition system is going to be weak, and the battery has to be charged in order for the car to run right.
