Default aftermarket gauges

Hi new here I have a 83 cutlass supreme with the 305 and I want to install a set of gauges so that I do not have idiot lights, so here is where I am in need of some help, I am putting in an oil pressure gauge and a coolant temp gauge both are going to be electric, I have the oil pressure sending unit as it came with the gauges and I still need to buy the coolant one as that did not come with the gauges, so what I need to know is;
1) where is the best place to install the oil pressure sending unit
2) where do I install the coolant temp sending unit and what one should I go with (preferably a factory one so)

I am pretty good with wiring and I want to know if they are similar to the 350 where the oil pressure one is usually by the distributor and the coolant temp one is usually by the exhaust manifold. (I have not dealt with a car this old and am used to the newer models which I can get info for)

Default solved

so coolant was drivers side under the header and the oil pressure was just above the oil filter just like the 350.
