Default Chevy 350 in a '68 Cutlass? tranny alignment problems?

Just got a 1968 cutlass for a bargain, I preferred a Chevelle but I fell in love with the front end of this '68. Its got a 350 out of a '69 cutlass but its got a bad crank. I have the hookup on some chevy 350 motors but can it work in this car. Its got a 3speed manuel tranny originally on the column but changed to the floor. Any help?....These cutlass's rock!

Even though my cutlass level is almost 19? That really bites. Its not worth playing the game then. Oh well. Thanks for the info guys.
