I have a 1972 Cutlass Supreme hardtop. Is it possible to make it into a convertible? Anyone done it? What's involved? I've seen it done on other cars before.

It's possible to do it, and it is done on alot of four-wheelers with a recip saw and some friends, but I've heard that it might make cars like ours "uninsurable" because it would take away structural integrity in the design and make it much more dangerous in a wreck, but I do know that if you clear the area of wires and happen to be good with a saw, it's not that hard, just a matter of steady hands and good planning, but it's always good to check with a reputable customs shop.
