BAd Bad BAd News... my 1971 olds dose not have the original 455.... its a 1977-1984 350... and i blew it up.. hole in piston blown head gasket and collapsed rings all from sitting with no air cleaner on it for 9 years

 

Well that blows.

FYI the 350 stopped production after 1980.

No go find another engine to drop in there and I'd say stick with a 350 for now. A 455 in TONS of trouble in the making.
