1984 Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS mpg help

I recently got a 1984 Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS mint and almost every
part, except for the tires I just replaced, are completely original. My
mpgs are running around 5mpg, and after a K&N and a plugged up vacuum
leak I am at about 6.5mpg. Is there any help one could offer on increasing
this number? Obviously it is a stock 307 as well. Thank you.Edited by: hurstolds594038
