I got an immaculate 36,000 '78 Toro--with purrfect interior/body/vinyl top/engine + most everything else.

AlthoughI have the service manual--toR&R the heatercore, do I have to take the dashcover(top) off and the right dash front section off?

The core is buried in the interior-side

and what do I usefor "silastic"? any silicone(which I created at some silicone-medical-grade manufacturer)?

This project I knowwill be certainly as fun as doing the same in my'63 Riviera
