Default Help with Timing Marks

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue. I have just bought a car fitted with a 394 Oldsmobile engine, which so far appears to be a 61 or 62, Engine No. G16113, the bell housing casting no. 577476 with CFD62 and a number 2 cast in close by that. Front right head has a 20 cast in it, and my inlet is 580677 (Quad). I want to check the timing on the car but cannot find out the most basic info from the Internet as my engine just has a pointer and my crank pulley 3 slots but no other markings - see photo. Can anyone tell me what the slots represent, I'm assuming maybe TDC, 5 BTDC and ?BTDC - anyone able to help me on this?

I'd also be grateful if anyone can confirm what my engine is exactly for future spare parts reference.

Based in the UK and over here we have like zero Oldsmobile experts to seek advice from!
