Default coolant leak on 1998 Intrigue

I have a significant coolant leak on my 1998 Intrigue 3800 Series II motor. It appears to be leaking from somewhere on the back side of the motor on the drivers side. Possible the head gasket (I hope not). I cant get a good look at it to tell exactly where its coming from.

Is it common for head gaskets to fail in this location? Any other thoughts where it might be from?

Any tricks to getting a better look at this location? I was thinking of un-bolting the upper motor mounts and pulling the motor forward a few inches to get a better look.

Pulling the motor is a bit drastic, is it not? Are you able to get a mirror in between the firewall and the back of the engine? Are you able to observe the back of the engine from underneath?

I would try these possibilities before pulling the engine.
