cruise button lights up but the light on thedash does not. the cruise control is not working,anybody know

 

I would check the cruise control fuse. To find the fuse panel, open the passenger side door and look for a finger hole on the right side of the dash. Pull off this panel and behind it you will find a fuse holder with a bunch of fuses. Check the one marked cruise control.

 

no, I checked that one already, should have metioned that
