HELP!! I'm experiencing a problem with my 98 Olds. I love the beauty but am having a hard time with shifting from park. It gets suck and will not shift. I'm always afraid I'm pushing too hard and will break something. Lately I've been leaving the car in neutrual and putting on the parking break just so I don't have to worry about getting stuck somewhere. So far I've been able to always get it into reverse or drive but is there a cable in there? I'm a single mom without a clue or money? Any help? I've tried putting lube down the shifter and I cannot tell if it helps or not.
