Welcome Sean, I'm from the Chicago area. 181K on the clock is a lot for the 2.2, for sure. I had a 95 Cutlass that had 188K and still running strong when I traded it for my Alero.

Yup, 181k.

Its got a stumble in the idle, im 90% sure it could use a set of plugs. Ive never changed them and i have owned the car since it had 7k on the odometer.

Ive got a totaled 2002 sunfire with the same engine with only 62k on it, im going to swap the 62k motor in when this one takes a dump.

Yah think?

174K on plugs! I'd put the Sunfire plugs in, then get new ones when you swap engines.
