I have a hood ornament to identify. From the '40's of 50's. I am sure it is from an Olds. It is similar to my '48 Futuramic. New here so now wondering how to post the photo of it. I will try the insert image trick in this message. It is for sale by the way. It is pitted some but not deeply and could be easily rechromed. The red plastic is quite good. Whoa that won't work. It is asking for a URL I have a photo on my desktop. How do I upload to your site?

Can't help on the ID though. Would guesstimate it to be of 30's-40's vintage?

 

Darn I was hoping someone had an Olds with the same ornament that could identify this guy. I am still thinking it late 30's or 40's
