installed new engine (350)in my 1977 "98" now looking at dual exhaust but cant find any headers listed, any one know the cross match for this car or an exact fit exhaust header?? thanks!!

 

Hey there I have a 1977 Ninety Eight with a 350 Olds engine making 400 hp from Proformance Unlimited. What I used on it is Hooker Headers for a Cutlass. I have also completely taken apart the dash and cleaned the vents pained them and as well built a panel to hold a set of gauges from Classic Gauges. If you would like pics please email me and I would be happy to share with you. I have a list of parts and websites that you can get what you need. Someone also asked about a place to recover the hard plastic dash pieces... I suggest Hydro-dip.com. Hope I hear from someone... anyone with the same car! Mike

The have a list of the parts they put in so it could give you some ideas. The cam was so hot in the engine that I added an electric vacuum pump and I changed the old 9 in brakebooster to an 11in and used a willwood master cyl.( Got them at Jegs) I have the MPE-11266 MagnaFlow Mufflers with full stainless from the hookers back and 2 highflow cats. The pipe is 3 in all the way and a slight curve downward just below the bumper. I''m 32 but the car was my fathers and now mine to fix up. He was the original owner.
