i just got a 1985 toronado today. i bought it with the speedometer not working. he claims he was going down the road and he heard "bonk" and it went to zero. do you think it is the cable or the cluster that would need to be replaced? i never taken a cluster out of an oldsmobile before so i dont know what to except. i cant find any repair information or anything that could help me out. this is such a nice car and i really would like to drive it soon. do any of you also know how much i can except to pay at like a repair shop to get this done if it would be to hard for me. ive taken a cluster out of an omni and a mr2 before but i had stuff to guide me through the way. thank you for who ever responds
