I agree with you Iflylow, mine has been a pretty good car too. Out of all the N-body cars the Alero looks better, the aftermarket for them is pretty crappy though, nothing like the Grand Am.

i think i got a front WB making noise they were changed right before i got it 4 months ago but i''m almost sure thats the sound i''m hearing.....tires are pretty well worn too...so i want to get new tires first too see if the noise i''m hearing is just the almost bald tires.....it has the 2.2 so no worries with the 3400 gaskets and manual windows so i lucked out there too....the only other issue it has is seams to have a stumble when on the highway with the cruise on drops rpm''s like 50-100 but enough to move the needle...i got 98xxx on it but i already changed the plugs and i got the ac delco ones that were like 8 bucks each.....just honestly feels like a random misfire but not enough to throw code......any ideas?

Mine did that also, but much worse than yours...changed the plug wires, and it went away.

I had a missfire that was pretty bad, bad enough I though that I should have gotten a DTC but never did. I had a crack in one of my plugs. Changed the plug out and all was well.

hum....so it sounds like I''ll be getting a set of wires.....I drive alot 800 miles a week so even the slightest thing I''ll notice.......so I''ve read the whole wheel bearing thread but I''m still left wondering about which ones to get( I did learn not to ebay them) but the local AZ has timken''s for 99 each....are they ok or do I have to shell out the big bucks at the dealership?
