Question wipers quit

Driving home today, the wipers quit working. Had them set on intermittent. Turned them off and tried all settings with no luck. Turned car off to check fuse. Fuse looked okay, but tried another one anyway. Turned car on and wipers worked. Put old fuse in and wipers worked. Could this be an indication the delay module is going? Maybe a motor overheating? I'm a little worried they are going to quit when I need them most now. Any thoughts?
I didn't find any previous threads or FAQ's on this problem.
Thanks

Might have been some corrosion on the fuse or block that got cleaned off when you removed and replaced.

If it comes back, you might try turning the car off and back on, or recycling the fuse might work again, or if the motor has a thermal overload it might reset again. Then you'll have some more symptoms to help in trouble-shooting.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to keep an eye on it to see when it happens again. Seemed to work okay in this morning's mist.
