I would like to know if one reason why my fuel pump is not working could be because my oil pressure switch is faulty. I have'nt changed either but before I purchase, I don't wont to waste time replacing the pump. Also, I did not get a signal when I tested the wiring going to the pump. Edited by: biggrip

if you did not get any power at the pump a good place to start would be the fuse...the only way an oil pressure switch would cause a problem would be if it was set up to kill the car if the oil pressure became low due to a low oil level (like most land rovers do)...i do not know if the aurora is set up like that because mine has been half a quart low and my computer flashed check oil level (and the car didn't shut off)...and if it were set up like that it isn't going to read oil pressure until your car is started so it's only going to affect your while it's running...it should reset itself after it would kill it meaing you can start your car again after it shuts off
