Default olds 455 with 3 spd manuel tranny pilot bearing?

I have a '68 455 out of a toronado and it runs great but I'm putting it into a '68 cutlass that was originally equipped with a 3spd standard tranny but the 455 out of the toronado was an automatic. So the back of the crank does not have a cut out for a pilot bearing. I really want to use this motor what are my options. Thanks guys

Have the crank drilled. There is an adapter bushing out there, but it requires cutting down the input shaft on the trans to make it work. If you have the crank drilled then it can be used either with a stick or auto with no further mods.

You know of where I can get that adapter your telling me about? And about how much do I need to cut off the input shaft?
