3.3 engine stumbles
Hi, I have a 1993 Olds Cutlass Ciera, with 60,000 original miles. It was running good, but the engine started to buck and stumble. I asked around and tried some stuff, but no good results. It. Seems like when the motor warms up it acts up. I was told that I should check out the coils. I don’t have any way to test them, so I thought that I would just change all three of them. It seems like I can only find coils for the other v6’s, but not 3.3 engines.
How about a little schooling on coils? Are the coils interchangeable? Will all the v6’ coils work on a 3.3 . I was also told that I should also change the module at the same time? Where are you guys buying items like this? We only have autozone, or advance auto parts around here.
This car is in really good shape, and I would like to get it back to running good again. I also forgot to mention that when it’s acting up and I come to a stop it usually stalls unless I can stay on the gas.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
