HAVE 1998 ACHIEVA WITH THE SECURITY LIGHT CONSTANTLY ON. THE CAR STARTS OK BUT THE LIGHT IS ON, IN ADDITION THE INSTRUMENT PANEL HAS NUMEROUS WARNING LIGHTS ON, E.G. OIL, LOW COOLANT, WATER TEMP. ANY IDEAS?

 

With all the other lights on as well, I would lean to either a major short to ground in the harness somewhere or the insturment clusture itself has failed. Further Diagnostics, i.e. testing the harness to the panel, would be required.
