Does the computer control the temp of the A/C? The reason I ask is a few months ago I was riding down the road and my speedometer stopped working, the A/C quit blowing cold, and the car cut off. I replaced the computer and all was fine for a few days, then the same thing happened. I got another computer and all was well for a few days, then the A/C doesn't seem to blow as cold as it could (used to). Is it just a coincidence or does the computer actually control how cold the A/C blows? I tried to add some freon (actually R-22), but nothing came out of the can. The guy at the auto store said that it was probably still full and didn't need more freon (he also said the compressor was coming on). I have a one year warrenty on the computer and I think that's the problem (but I'm NO mechanic).
