I have a 1994 cutlass supreme convertible and there is something going on with the ignition/electrical that I can't figure out. I'm not to good with the electrical aspects with cars so if this is a dumb question I apolgize. So I was driving home from work last night and my car just lost all power...so I pulled over into a parking lot and popped the hood...i checked my battery cables and found the ground to be a lil loose so I tightened it the best I could with an adjustable and the car started right up no problem. I noticed the cable bolt on my ground wire was stripped so I replaced it but now I have power until I turn the key to acc and then I lose everything...the car will start randomly and once it's shut off it won't start again...what would cause the car to short out in a way but given some time it starts with no problem?
