I have an interesting problem. My wifes 1999 silhouette seems to go into limp mode first thing in the mornings but once she sits ideling for a few minutes it goes away. When this happens, there are no DTC's, the battery light goes on and off but not quickly (very random), and the engine seems to be limited to 1500 rpms and 10mph. So far, I have changed the fuel filter, air filter, and the transmission filter. The problem seems to coorelate loosely with rain but it has happened when it is dry as well. also of note, there is a hill when leaving our home and it always does it going up this hill first thing in the morning but never repeats itself during the same day no matter how many times we go up the same hill. without DTC's Im at a loss. any ideas?
