Hey guys name is Ryan I am an electrician building a car(1965 cutlass 442) for my father and am trying to get it done for him by fathers day (2009) I dropped an oldsmobile 396021F motor into it after rebuiding it. The problem is I have a small oil leak (white smoke)from the drivers side of the motor,Ithink its a head gasket soobviously I am going to pull the manifold off. But how do I determine the cause of the leak. I am an electrican by trade so I''m mechanically enclined to do the work but incompitent when it gets to this kind of stuff. please help my father has no idea I got his high school car for him that he''s been dreamin about for years.
