I Have just recently purchased A 1986 olds cutlass supreme brougham sedan. It has the 307 v8 , I want to change a lot of things, so Im starting at the engine. One thing is i Want more hp so i was told a 403 would bolt straight into the exsiting tranny. I don't Know, is possible to get a coversion chart from some where before i dump over a thousand into a new 403, I want to make sure it's going to work.
Yes A reman Company is going to build me a performance 403 (350hp)for 1450.00 minus the intake, water pump and valve covers. I just want to make sure it's going to fit and bolt up before i spend that kind of money; otherwise i would leave the 307 in it.
