I Have just recently purchased A 1986 olds cutlass supreme brougham sedan. It has the 307 v8 , I want to change a lot of things, so Im starting at the engine. One thing is i Want more hp so i was told a 403 would bolt straight into the exsiting tranny. I don't Know, is possible to get a coversion chart from some where before i dump over a thousand into a new 403, I want to make sure it's going to work.[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

Welcome! Any small-block Olds engine will bolt right up.

What do you mean by "new 403"? Is it a remanufactured engine?

Yes A reman Company is going to build me a performance 403 (350hp)for 1450.00 minus the intake, water pump and valve covers. I just want to make sure it's going to fit and bolt up before i spend that kind of money; otherwise i would leave the 307 in it.

 

I was wondering if there is any impiticular reading material or books on olds cutlass supreme that might be helpful tome ? Any Recomondations?

We have a 2001 Olds Aurora and need rims in the rear. Where can we possibly purchase 2 in Massachusetts that are used? Appreciate any assistance you may have.
