I would just do the plugs,it isn't that hard (I have the 3400). Change the plug wires also, they are pretty cheap and easy. What year and engine do you have, and how many miles?

I don't know. If it was a coil, the misfires would be on only two cylinders and not random(assuming aldog3788 has the 3400), since each coil fires two cylinders. However, arcing wires could arc to any other cylinder, or to ground, and give a random misfire.

I have this same problem, OBD II P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire. I have tested the ICM, coils, new plugs and wires 8 months ago and wondered if any of the other sensors were bad or malfunctioning wouldn't it show up on the OBD scan?

Anyway, what was done to the injectors? Replaced, cleaned or bad wiring?

Thanks
