OK...i blew on of the rear speakers in my 01 alero (w/o bose). I bought a pair of new kenwoods, i believe just two ways. WEll i popped out the old speakers and found that the wire harness i bought doesnt match up to the stock one. the stock one has 4-pin plug and the one i bought at best buy only has 2-pin. I took it back and was told that they didnt have that type of harness.





Now i know others has installed rear speakers...ANZY HELP PLEASE

 

with any audio install i have ever done i have never reverted back too factory harnesses (for the speakers) I have always just spliced them and put on solder less connectors and i was good too go, oem positives in most cases will be the darker of the two wires. but yeah it is a heck of alot cheaper and semi easy as long as you know how too use a pair of wire snips and a pair of pliers. hope this helps.
