A/C Compressor not running
Hi,
I stopped to refuel my car and since then my a/c is not working. The clutch engages perfectly but the compressor makes no noise. On the low side I have 153psi(under black dustcap a/c on and off) thats way too much (114f, r134a). Is the compressor defect? Any ideas what else can cause the problem?
Thx for all your answers

If the clutch is engaging then the compressor should be spinning, if not the clutch took a dump. Otherwise is has to be the compressor. Those pressure readings should change when the compressor kicks on, if not then it's not functioning I.E. the rings must be blown.
I can't really think of what else might cause that.
